Christmas Gift Card Holder

This is my project for Christmas Crafts All Year Round.  The challenge is no cards! Wow!  I'm not really thinking about Christmas gifts yet!!  LOL!  So I made a Gift Card Holder with the help of my Silhouette Cameo.  Then I used one of my snowman digi stamps, and got out my watercolours to paint him up!   It was fun to play with them again after a long break.  I used Copics for his hat & scarf. The whipped cream piece is what holds the gift card.  It's a fun way to give a gift!
Looking forward to seeing the other creations that enter the challenge!

Hare Raising

What a cute little scene! I coloured with Copics and adhered to a purple card base.
I don't know about you, but when I was growing up "Laundry Day" was an 'occasion' to be marked on the calendar.  It happened like clock work, every Monday. Morning to be exact!  LOL! For this 'reason' I will be playing along at the Watercooler.

I'll also be playing along at:

While the image doesn't necessarily depict rabbits as a 'pet', they are one of the many pets we had as children growing up!

LOL - laundry might be a stretch for Summer 'fun', but I'm playing along anyway! :)

For the Boys

Another adorable digi from LOTV!  Our Southern Girls Design Team Challenge theme is BOYS ARE THE BOMB!  How fun is that!?
Be sure to stop by Southern Girls challenge blog and play along!!

Non Traditional Coloured Christmas Foliage

Non Traditional Coloured Christmas  - now that's a mouthful!!
This is my entry as DT member for Christmas cards all year round June challenge garland leaves .
The card base was cut with my Silhouette, and I used a pretty Christmas die in my Cuttlebug for the greeting.  The delicate wreath is copic coloured.

I'll be playing along at:

Birthday Balloons!

What better way to celebrate a birthday than balloons?!
After die cutting Ina's name for the card, I used the individual letters to address her envelope. Some pretty coloured papers and copics for the image, and the card was ready for giving!

This card is in celebration of a dear friend moving back to town!!  We are so glad to have him back!

Wow!!  This is going to be so fun!!  Here's is my first card as a DT member at the Southern Girls Challenge blogspot.
The theme for this challenge is Spots & Dots!  Looking forward to what you create!

Our DT was given a great image from Color of Love.
The images have so much personality! 'Eleanor & Pickles County Fair Treats' is shown here.
I had a friend who LOVED to put glitter on everything - any special event deserved glitter!!  So I added Stickles to the cotton candy, snow cone and even her hair - just like my friend would have done in real life!!

Ernie's 90th!

This card was made for a dear man who was turning 90!  WoW!  It has been coloured with copics and there's a little sparkle in the icing with the help of Stickles.

Favorite Medium

This card has been selected to enter the As You Like It Challenge for "Favorite Medium".  My favorite is Copic markers.  I just started colouring last summer, so it's really the only thing I use, so far.  I enjoy the opportunity to, and challenge of blending that you get with alcohol markers.

Mistletoe Themed Challenge

This is my submission for the March Challenge at Christmas Cards All Year Round.
As soon as I saw this funny digi I knew I wanted to colour it up!
There's also another challenge going on right now that calls for 'plaid,' so I will play along with it.
It seems funny to still be making Christmas cards, but come December, I bet I will be pretty happy to have these extra cards already made up!

Postal Love

This is a copic coloured digi, adhered to a border and then to the card base with an extra little flap.  I added some plaid paper and a couple of bubble hearts for some dimension.

F is for FROZEN

This might be non-traditional colours for a winter card - but after the weather we're getting - I needed something cheery!
I coloured this image with copics and cut the tent base with my Silhouette.
I hope it's not too much of a stretch to play along at The Crafter's Cafe Challenge - 'f' is for 'frozen.'

Welcome Nathaniel Charles!

This is for my friend's newest Grand baby!  The first boy; Nathaniel Charles!  I coloured this Precious Moments image with copics, and added some personal details on the belly-band of the wash tub.  The bunting was cut with my Silhouette & propped up with foam tape before I added a few sequins & a sticker.
The sequins & copics are my 'choose two' items in the Just Add Ink challenge.

I don't think there's an explanation needed for the reason I chose this for the "Hello Sweetie" challenge at Lil Red Wagon!

This is the literal meaning of 'birth day' - as I enter in the Scrapbook Stamp Society challenge!

A couple of Carollers...

This is my card for the "Carols & Songs Christmas Crafts All Year Round" Design Team.

I coloured this Polkadoodle image with copics and highlighted it with a file I cut on my Silhouette.  The musical notes are also Silhouette files - and I apologize in advance if I offend any music experts...I hope those elements are not inside out and backwards!!  LOL!  The music background is actually a wide washi tape!
